Martina Hingis qualifies for the Chase Championships

Martina Hingis is the eighth player to qualify for the Chase Championships, the WTA Tour finale, at Madison Square Garden on 18-24 November. The tournament will be contested by 16 women, who qualify via a points system through the season. Hingis' rivals already include Steffi Graf, Monica Seles, Arantxa Sanchez Vicario, Lindsay Davenport, Conchita Martinez and Kimiko Date.
