Motor racing: Williams invest in fair fight
Williams-Renault are spending around pounds 20,000 to ensure that next weekend's Formula One title showdown between team-mates Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve is a fair fight.
That is how much it will cost the Oxfordshire team to fly an extra car and mechanics to Suzuka for the Japanese Grand Prix a week on Sunday. For all but two Grands Prix this season Williams have had just one spare car on duty, with Hill and Villeneuve taking it in turns to have it set up their way. But with the French-Canadian just nine points behind Hill and still in contention for the title, both will have a second car in Japan.
