Button aiming to win last six races
Wednesday 14 September 2011
Britain's Jenson Button insists he can win all six remaining races this season despite conceding that his fight for the title is now over.
The 2009 champion is 117 points behind Red Bull's championship leader, Sebastian Vettel, with 150 points up for grabs. Asked if the title had now gone, Button said: "There's no chance. It won't change anything though, you still want to win every race. That doesn't suddenly change because there's no championship to win."
Meanwhile, outgoing Williams technical director Sam Michael will begin a new role as McLaren sporting director next year. The 40-year-old Australian will now focus on McLaren's trackside operations.
