Jenson Button still chasing Formula One title

Jenson Button admitted yesterday that he is far from ready to play second fiddle to help his McLaren team-mate Lewis Hamilton win the world championship.
Team head Martin Whitmarsh recently hinted that the time might come when Button, who is 40 points adrift of Hamilton, might have to support his team-mate, but Button made it clear that would only be when his own mathematical chance of the title has evaporated.
"When you think I'm only 40 points behind Lewis, I'm not going to give up just because of that," Button said. "Until my own chance has gone, I'm going to fight for it."
