Oxford United, who were hoping to move into a new pounds 20m stadium this summer, will have to wait at least until next August after an unnamed financial backer pulled out. Robin Herd, the chairman, told the club's AGM: "The stadium will be built - I just can't promise when."

Napoli, the Italian First Division club, are to seek a Stock Exchange listing in London in the near future. The club's administrator, Gianmarco Innocenti, said: "There are fewer restrictions there than in our country." He added that after years in the red, the club was in the black last year.
