Scotland in the shape of Stephen Hendry, John Higgins and Alan McManus, won the World Cup in Bangkok last night, defeating the Republic of Ireland 10-7. Their win in the 14-day tournament was worth pounds 35,000 per man and Higgins also collected pounds 4,000 for his 139, the highest break of the tournament, against Thailand on Saturday.
