The International Federation will test a new scoring system at next month's World Cup in Jakarta, Indonesia. For doubles and men's singles, instead of automatically setting for five points at 13-13 or three points at 14-14, competitors will have have the option of setting for one, two or three points when matches reach 14-14. In women's play, instead of setting for three points at 9-9 or two points at 10-10, competitors will have the option of setting for one, two or three points at 10-10. Additionally, players will be given a 90-second break between the first and second games.
