Paula Thomas has been forced to pull out of Britain's Olympic 4x100m relay team, weeks after collapsing in Helsinki. Although she has been recovering well from a major operation to remove her appendix and right ovary, she feels that the stress of her competing in the Olympics so soon after such significant surgery would be too much for her family.
