SOMEWHERE in Barcelona there is a very frightened French athletics official, hoping that Bruno Marie-Rose is a gentleman, or at least a gentle man. Marie-Rose, a powerfully built sprinter, arrived on Wednesday ready for today's 100m heats only to find that his federation had forgotten to enter him. 'It is a dream broken by human foolishness,' he said.
