Ryder Cup, 2010
During the opening ceremony for the Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor, the highlight was undoubtedly when American captain Corey Pavin forgot one his players. As the former US Open champion announced the American team to the crowd and a world wide audience, he neglected to name Stewart Cink - a former champion no less. The embarrassing moment was handled exceptionally well, when after Cink caught his captain's eye (pictured), Pavin asked the crowd to give "a special round of applause" as Cink got to his feet.
