Top artists team up for London 2012 posters

London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games organisers have commissioned a series of posters from 12 of the UK's best-known artists in celebration of the games.

The images, which were unveiled today, will go on show at Tate Britain in a free exhibition as part of the London 2012 Festival in the summer of 2012 and are available to buy as posters and prints.

Artists and designers from Tracey Emin to Martin Creed and Rachel Whiteread join the ranks of David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol, who have all designed posters for previous Olympic games.
