The enigmatic Frenchman, however, won Manchester United the FA Cup in 1994 with two penalties in the final. Has any League player scored three in one game?

A. As recently as 3 August 1996, Dougie McGuire of Albion Rovers scored three penalties in a Scottish Coca-Cola Cup match against Arbroath.
