THERE WAS a chance to see the Cheltenham Gold Cup winner yesterday when See More Business paraded in front of 300 well-wishers at his stables in Ditcheat, Somerset, and there could be one more opportunity to witness him in action this season. Paul Nicholls, trainer of the nine-year-old, is likely to have one more outing this season in the Martell Cup at Aintree's Grand National meeting.

"If he doesn't run there he will be put away for the season," Nicholls said. "He will again run in blinkers at Liverpool as they helped at Cheltenham and Mick Fitzgerald will ride him as long as he's available."

Nicholls's other Festival winners, Call Equiname and Flagship Uberalles, helped take him past Martin Pipe at the top of the trainers' championship and also head to Aintree for the Melling Chase over two and a half miles, and Maghull Novices' Chase respectively.

Of Double Thriller, who finished fourth in the Gold Cup, his owner, Reg Wilkins, said: "There is a chance he will run in the National as he was put in at the deep end yesterday and that was only his sixth ever run over fences - but he will never get a weight like 10st 8lb in the National again."

n Teeton Mill's racing career remains in the balance. The Venetia Williams- trained grey suffered tendon damage and was pulled up before the ninth fence in the Gold Cup. "I haven't seen him today but I understand he is comfortable," Williams said yesterday. "He will remain at the veterinary surgery for the time being. X-rays have been taken and they are clean."
