Northern sprinter is being pitched in against the flying Lochsong in the King George Stakes on Tuesday, before tackling the Stewards' Cup on Saturday.

''It all depends on how the horse comes back from the race on Tuesday but he is in very good form and, all being well, the intention is to run him again on Saturday,' Beasley said at his Thirsk stables yesterday.

'It is raining hard here at the moment and we could do with a drop or two just to ease the ground down at Goodwood, but it has been well-watered and we can have no complaints on that score.' Mistertopogigo is generally a 14-1 chance for the Stewards' Cup, with Poker Chip a best- priced 10-1 favourite.

Jawaal, who landed a string of big bets when winning the apprentices' handicap at Ascot on Friday by five lengths, has been heavily backed for Goodwood's Golden Mile.

Jawaal, who looks a blot on the handicap, will get a run in Thursday's race because only 29 were left in at the five-day stage at the weekend.

Bobzao could finish only sixth behind locally-trained Sternkonig in a Group One race at Dusseldorf yesterday.
