KIEREN FALLON partnered his first winner since being sacked by Henry Cecil when the Ian Balding-trained Ogilia scored at Bath yesterday.

"It's nice to get that one out of the way," Fallon said afterwards."As far as the future is concerned I intend to ride for anybody who wants me to ride for them." Contradicting reports that he is to be Sir Michael Stoute's stable jockey, Fallon said: "I haven't been approached by anybody to ride next season or whenever."

Balding, who has had second claim on Fallon's services, said: "Our agreement is just for this year. After that I suspect that if he doesn't ride for Michael Stoute he will stay freelance."

Fallon later completed a double on Lucky Archer.
