Racing: For the Notebook: A weekly list of horses to follow
CAPPUCHINO: left flat- footed at the start of a Lingfield handicap on Saturday, but still got up to beat Thorny Bishop comfortably despite carrying top weight. This was only her second run on the all- weather since a promising third to the smart Imperial Bailiwick last May and further success seems certain. (W O'Gorman)
INTO THE RED: stayed in contention right up to the closing stages of Saturday's Warwick National and was going as well as any entering the straight until lack of a race this season took its toll. With this under his belt he can figure prominently in the major chasing marathons to come this spring. (J White)
KING RAT: seemed to show improvement when completely outpointing the useful Mr Bergerac in a Southwell sprint on Friday and can be placed to win again by his in-form trainer. (M Johnston)
