Racing: Harem in Club inquiry
MARK PITMAN, who won Saturday's Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury with Ever Blessed, will appear with fellow trainer Lisa Williamson before the Jockey Club disciplinary committee today over an identity irregularity concerning Harem Scarem.
A horse under that name, formerly trained by Pitman, was due to run for Cheshire-based Williamson at Carlisle racecourse in October but had to be withdrawn because it was noticed that the gelding's markings did not match those on his passport.
