2.35: Afaan broke the Newmarket course record last month and is again likely to set a strong pace. MOON STRIKE, who has changed stables since last season, showed signs of a return to form at Haydock. He has had only three outings this year and may be fresher than most of his opponents.

3.10: Rutland Chantry has not proved himself over the trip or on the ground, so FAHS could be value in the hands of Andrew Balding. He is well treated on his Kempton third to Secret Spring.

3.40: Generous Libra and Supply And Demand finished behind SUPREME SOUND at York and it should not pay to make excuses for either of them. Supreme Sound put up a fast time and may still be improving.
