2.40: A wide-open sprint complicated by the fact that the most recent run for several contestants came at Epsom, a course whose characteristics are very different to the Knavesmire's. SAINT EXPRESS, who did best last week in third when badly drawn, can confirm the form with Gorinsky and Ashtina. He is a best-priced 8-1 with Ladbrokes at morning odds.
3.10: HOW'S YER FATHER hinted that he was coming back to his best last time with a short-head defeat at Folkestone. The most recent of his nine career wins came over this course and distance and, even though he is a little out of the handicap, looks overpriced at 13-2 with Coral and William Hill.
3.40: KABAYIL showed progressive form over jumps last winter and is on a lenient handicap mark for the Flat. She made a creditable reappearance behind Muse, another horse well handicapped on his jumps form.
4.10: Although now a four-year- old, KARSHI has had only seven starts and indicated that he is still progressing when a close fourth to the classy Castle Courageous, Saint Keyne and Blackpatch Hill. With several of his opponents disappointing last time, the 5-1 on offer with William Hill and Ladbrokes looks reasonable.Reuse content
