Racing: Legend returns in Magnet Cup

MIDNIGHT LEGEND, winner of the King George V Handicap at Royal Ascot, heads the betting for the John Smith Magnet Cup at York on Saturday. The Luca Cumani- trained colt drops back to 10 furlongs for Saturday's race, which does not worry Cumani, who said: 'He runs well enough over 10 and had the King George V been over that distance, he would still have won.' The colt is favourite at between 7-2 and 4-1 with all three leading bookmakers.
