Racing: Roman on right road
CLIVE BRITTAIN, who has had a disappointing campaign in Britain with only 18 wins, showed that his confidence and ingenuity has not been affected by misfortune when successfully raiding Deauville's twin course, Clairefontaine, yesterday with Roman Camp. The chestnut won the pounds 5,149 Prix des Pivoines easily by seven lengths.
Hoh Magic, a winner of Deauville's Prix Morny last Sunday, will miss the Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster next month to head straight for the Cheveley Park Stakes.
