Racing: Sheilah Hern dies at 70
Sheilah Hern, the wife of the retired trainer Dick Hern, died on Sunday at the age of 70. "My wife died yesterday after a long fight against cancer," Hern said.
"We were married in 1956 and Sheilah helped me for 41 years. She was quite a successful owner. Her best horse was Cabin Boy. I managed to win one race on the Flat with him but Captain Forster won 13 over jumps with him."
