Racing: Stood down but not out
LESTER PIGGOTT yesterday pledged to return to the saddle as soon as he has recovered from his latest race riding fall. Piggott, 58, has been stood down for the mandatory seven days after he suffered concussion and bruising to the side of his head when the saddle slipped from Coffee 'N Cream during a race at Goodwood on Thursday.
