Zaahid out of Lincoln
The leading ante-post fancies Zaahid and Lang Shining have missed the cut for the William Hill Lincoln at Doncaster tomorrow. The pair, trained by Barry Hills and Sir Michael Stoute respectively, had been well-supported in recent weeks for the first major race of the new turf season when racing resumes after the Good Friday break. However, as none of the horses above them in the five-day declarations were taken out at the 48-hour stage, both miss out.
Zaahid will take his chance in the Spring Mile, a consolation race for the Lincoln, while Michael Jarvis's Prince Forever is the new Lincoln favourite at 13-2 with the sponsors.
