THE AUSTRALIAN international winger Ben Tune has been named in Queensland's Super 12 side to play South Africa's Cats on Saturday despite the Australian team doctor's recommendation that he be rested for at least a month.

Tune is at the centre of a tug-of-war between Queensland and Australian officials, who both want him for their respective campaigns. Although he wants to keep playing, Tune had agreed to sit out the game if instructed by a specialist following an examination on his injured knee.

The New South Wales captain, Michael Brial, has been dropped for Friday's game against Wellington Hurricanes.
