Saracens scored three tries to Bath's one as they powered their way to a second Premiership title courtesy of a 28-16 victory at Twickenham.

The 2010/11 champions signalled their intention early when Owen Farrell crossed over for a try in the corner after good work by Billy Vunipola and a neat offload from Duncan Taylor, and they went further in front when a stray pass from Kyle Eastmond allowed hooker Jamie George to gather the ball 40m out from the try-line and charge home despite the defence's best efforts to catch him.

Bath finally got on the board as George Ford converted a penalty, but they were soon even further behind and looking down and out when Chris Wyles took full advantage of an overlap to jog over on the left.

Bath would regroup at half-time and come out fighting, with England centre scoring a try with a lovely finish, while Ford chipped away at the lead with two further penalties, but Farrell landed a crucial effort of his own to stem the tide and ensure Saracens would put their three defeats in their last three finals behind them.
