Former Scotland international fly-half Gordon Ross will embark on a coaching career after being appointed as assistant at relegated Premiership club London Welsh.
Ross, 35, who will still be available to play for the club, will take charge of the backs as part of a new backroom staff under Justin Burnell, who has succeeded Lyn Jones as head coach.
Ross, who has scored 574 points in 106 appearances for London Welsh, said: "I've worked under some very good coaches over the years and hopefully I can use some of things I've picked up from them with the squad next season."
