*The Bath head coach, Steve Meehan, believes his side are well set for a testing three-match run-in as they seek a play-off place after they resumed their winning ways in the Guinness Premiership with a 34-15 victory over Sale at the Recreation Ground on Saturday. "We were a little bit rusty but it was a good performance leading into Tuesday evening's game with Northampton," said Meehan, whose side then face Wasps before finishing the regular season at home to Leeds.

Saracens powered to a 37-18 win over Harlequins at Wembley, inspired by a spectacular display from their South African hooker Schalk Brits. "Schalk is a special player and must be one of the three best hookers in the world," Saracens' director of rugby Brendan Venter said.
