This weekend saw the start of the Six Nations and it did not disappoint with a great comeback win from England winning, Scotland running France close and Ireland having to wait till the final quarter to pull away from Italy.
Wales 16 - 21 England
The tournament’s curtain raiser saw the pre-game fireworks matched by the fireworks on the pitch, as England avenged their humiliating 30-3 defeat away to Wales in 2013, with a spirited comeback that saw them come out 21-16 victors in Cardiff on Friday night.
France 15 - 8 Scotland
This was followed on Saturday by a gutsy performance by Scotland, who were on the receiving end of five Camille Lopez penalty kicks as they went down 15-8 losers against France.
Italy 3 - 26 Ireland
The other game saw reigning champions Ireland leave it late against Italy, in a routine 26-3 win in Rome.
