Gavin Henson has been selected in a 24-man Wales squad for next month's game against the Barbarians at the Millennium Stadium. The Toulon centre, who has not played for Wales since the 2009 Six Nations Championship, was suspended by his club last month while they investigated an altercation involving the 29-year-old and team-mates. Henson was given a second chance and appeared as a substitute in the defeat by Montpellier on Saturday.
The Wales squad includes five uncapped players – Dragons pair Lloyd Burns and Toby Faletau, Scarlets lock Lou Reed and centre Scott Williams, plus Ospreys prop Ryan Bevington.
No 8 Andy Powell has not made the squad. Powell left Wasps by mutual consent last week after the club investigated a bar-room brawl.
Another troubled player, Danny Cipriani, has been voted off the Melbourne Rebels squad for their next two games, in South Africa, by his team-mates putting his future at the club in doubt. The 23-year-old had been "stood down" for last Friday's home loss to the Queensland Reds after breaking a curfew the previous week in Sydney.
Rebels chief executive Ross Oakley said: "The playing group and management have lost confidence in Danny after the latest in a series of off-field breaches of the team's behavioural standards."
