David Russe has resigned as chairman of Second Division Bristol City for business reasons, although he will stay on as a director. Vice-chairman Mike Fricker will take over while the board deliberate on a successor.

TRANSFER: Michael Johnson (defender) Notts County to Birmingham City (tribunal).
