Sailing: Gilmour strikes early blow
Australia's Peter Gilmour is world match racing champion again after beating America's Ed Baird 3-1 in the best of five final of the Swedish Match Series in Marstrand yesterday.
Gilmour will skipper the Japanese America's Cup syndicate in New Zealand in two years' time, while Baird heads the New York Yacht Club group. Denmark's Jesper Bank beat local favourite Magnus Holmberg 3-2 in the play-off for third place.
