McManus breaks into Irish final

Mark Williams, of Wales, will play Scotland's Alan McManus in the final of the Irish Open today, writes Clive Everton. Williams, who lost 6-4 to John Parrott in last Sunday's final of the German Masters, beat him 6-1 in last night's semi-final. McManus, who will be appearing in his first world-ranking final since winning the Thailand Open in March 1996, overcame Malta's Tony Drago 6-3.
