MARY DECKER-SLANEY, of the United States, and Zola Budd-Pieterse, of South Africa, are scheduled to compete with 12 other women in the Diet- Coke Mile road race in Sydney today.

MORE THAN 3,000 women will take part in the largest women's race in the UK, the third Diet-Coke Greater London 10k between Surrey Quays and Tower Bridge, at 9am on Sunday morning. A men's race starts an hour earlier.
