THE Worthing Bears players Mike Spaid and Neville Searchwell have both had a one-year ban, suspended for 12 months, for taking a banned substance before February's National Cup Final against Guildford Kings. The English Basket Ball Association made the ruling after the players tested for dihydrocodeine, a pain-killer.
