REPRESENTATIVES of the heavyweight champion, Riddick Bowe, and the American television network, Fox, have met in Washington DC to discuss the possibility of Bowe making a title defence at half-time in Super Bowl XXVII, the National Football League championship game, on 31 January.

RICHIE WOODHALL, the Commonwealth middleweight champion, registered his 11th successive win when he outpointed Huddersfield's Horace Fleary at Telford last night.
