NEXT season's opening Formula One grand prix in South Africa will go ahead on 14 March despite liquidation proceedings against the owners of the track at Kyalami.

UKYO KATAYAMA, of Japan, will drive for the Tyrrell Formula One team in the 1993 world championship. Katayama made his Formula One debut this year with the Venturi-Larrouse team. He will probably partner the Italian, Andrea de Cesaris.
