MARK JONES had his six-match ban upheld yesterday and will not be able to play for Wales against France in Perpignan on Sunday week. The Hull forward, found guilty of kicking Warrington's Bob Jackson, lost his appeal after video evidence was presented at a hearing in Leeds. Wales, already without Jonathan Davies, Jonathan Griffiths, Gerald Cordle and Barry Williams, are now down to a 17-man squad - the minimum allowed.
