THE NEW YORK JETS have signed veteran quarterback Boomer Esiason from the Cincinnati Bengals in exchange for a third-round draft choice. The Jets have already signed two leading players in the off-season, defensive back Ronnie Lott and defensive end Leonard Marshall.
