SERGEI ARTEMIEV was in a serious condition with a blood clot on his brain after being knocked out by Carl Griffith in the 10th round of a United States lightweight championship bout in Atlantic City. The 23-year-old Russian-born fighter, who is based in New York, has had surgery to drain the clot.
