New Zealand selectors have recalled the batsman Craig Spearman to the squad but dropped Roger Twose for the three-Test tour of India, starting in October. The offspinner, Paul Wiseman, is recalled to partner Daniel Vettori. Geoff Allott and Simon Doull are unavailable because of injury.
