AUSTRALIA will need to score 146 runs in 31.3 overs when their one-day international against New Zealand resumes today after rain stopped play yesterday. New Zealand, having won the toss, reached 196 for 8 in 45 overs after rain cut the game from the scheduled 50 overs, Australia were 51 for two after 13.3 overs. The Australian bowler Paul Reiffel took four wickets in nine balls to finish with 4 for 38 in his 10 overs.

TOUR MATCH (Kingston, final day of four): Pakistan 319 for 4 dec (Inzamam-ul-Haq 106, Zahid Fazal 62, Basit Ali 51no) and 263 for 8 dec (Asif Mujtaba 79; Basit Ali 84no; L R Williams 4-66); Jamaica 283 (C A Davidson 86, L R Williams 65; Mushtaq Ahmed 5-86) and 155. Pakistan won by 144 runs.
