ANTONIO MARTIN, one of Spain's leading young cyclists, was killed in an accident yesterday while training near his home at Torrelaguna, outside Madrid. Martin, 23, who this season signed for the Banesto team, led by Miguel Indurain, was in a collision with a car. He rose to prominence in his first appearance in the Tour de France last year, when he finished 12th.
