The American, Mike Brisky, overshadowed some of the game's biggest names with a six-under-par 66 to give him a one-stroke lead in the PGA Western Open in Lemont, Illinois. Tiger Woods is two shots off the pace alongside the Australian Stuart Appleby.
Australia's Mardi Lunn fired a six-under-par 65 to take the lead after the opening round of the Farr Classic in Sylvania, Ohio. The 31-year-old sank six birdies in a bogey-free round to stand one stroke clear from Cathy Johnston-Forbes of the United States.
