THE former Fulham player, Hussain M'Barki, has been appointed development officer for Morocco. M'Barki, a Moroccan rugby union international before switching codes, hopes to enter a team in the World Sevens in Sydney in February as a first step towards establishing the game in the country.

HALIFAX have signed David Boyd, 27, a second-row forward from the Australian club, Newcastle Knights.
