Graeme Bachop, the former New Zealand scrum-half, will play for Japan in next month's Pacific Rim series. Bachop, who represented New Zealand at the 1995 World Cup has lived in Japan for more than three years.
Ben Tune, the Wallaby winger, has been cleared to play for Queensland in tomorrow's crucial Super-12 match against New South Wales. Tune had been in some doubt for the match at the Sydney Football Stadium because of a chronic knee injury but said he is certain to play.
