Pontypridd and Ebbw Vale are vying for the services of the former Wales international flanker Richie Collins. Collins is Pontypridd's choice as coach to replace Dennis John, who has become the club's technical director. Ebbw Vale have confirmed that Collins, on contract as a player, has not returned for pre-season training.
