BRUNO PEYRON, in Commodore Explorer, was yesterday progressing well at over 20 knots as he moved into the last 1,800 miles of his attempt to sail round the world in 80 days, but he needs to average nearly 15 knots and be back in Brest next Wednesday afternoon to take the Jules Verne Trophy.
