MATT HUMPHRIES, the skipper of Britain's Dolphin & Youth Whitbread 60, reported surfing at over 25 knots and averaging 16.6 knots for 12 hours as they caught up with Dennis Conner in the rival Winston on the ninth day of the New York to Southampton Race.
