On the final day of the Rolex Swan European Championship Week at Cowes, the overall winner, Don Wood, saw his ketch Gandalf placed third in the final race behind Keith Miller's Crackerjack, which was also second overall. The winners of Class G on the day were Peter and David Collins' Northern Child.
